Virtual Therapy for High School Students
Virtual therapy sessions are available to FCPS high school students at no cost to provide a safe space to address concerns such as:

Mood/behavior changes, motivation, grief/loss
Anxiety, worry, fears
Social skills, bullying, peer and family relationships
Academic stress

Important Technology Updates for the 2024-2025 School Year

The Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) School Health Division's primary goal is to promote the overall health and well-being of school-aged children. The School Health Division consists of Public Health Nurses (PHNs) and School Health Aides (SHAs) who provide a variety of services to accomplish this goal.

FCPS is excited to announce an important update beginning with the start of the 2024-25 school year.
• All Day Absences: The Attendance feature in ParentVUE is the FCPS secure web solution for reporting all day absences.
• Partial Absence: Late arrivals, early dismissals, or to update already submitted attendance, [email protected]

Starting August 1, 2024, student consent forms currently on ParentVUE will be moved to the Parent Digital Consent System (PDC).
Families can log in to the PDC using their ParentVUE credentials to complete consent forms assigned to their child. School staff will have access to view consent status and edit consent with permission from the family.
