AP Classes at Langley High School
Langley High School supports any student who wishes to accept the challenge of Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Please remember that AP courses are college-level courses and with that challenge come certain expectations regarding the maturity and capabilities of the enrolled students. College Board AP courses provide college-level studies for high school students who desire and are ready to do college-level work. These students demonstrate a strong curiosity about the subject and a willingness to complete hard work. Successful completion of an AP course will receive an additional 1.0 weight added to the high school GPA. If you are curious about the AP exam score needed to receive college credit in the Commonwealth of Virginia, see SCHEV, or check out this website for out-of-state college-specific information.
