Langley High School has been awarded AP School Honor Roll Platinum Distinction for the 2023-24 School Year.
HAIL SAXONS!
Langley High School has been awarded AP School Honor Roll Platinum Distinction from the College Board for the 2023-24 School Year.
While 17 FCPS High Schools were awarded AP Honor Roll status, Langley is one of only four that earned Platinum Distinction.
Platinum distinction is based on the following criteria:
College Culture – 80% or more of the graduating cohort took at least 1 AP Exam during HS.
College Credit – 50% or more of the graduating cohort scored at least a 3 or higher on at least 1 AP Exam during HS.
College Optimization – 15% or more or more of the graduating cohort took 5 or more AP Exams during high school. At least 1 of those exams was taken in 9th or 10th grade, so that students are spreading their AP experience across grades rather than feeling disproportionate pressure in any single year.
Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
