- Consider attending College Essay/Application Workshop held at LHS (August)
12th
- Attend Senior College Planning Night
- Finalize the senior packet
- Return senior packet and transcript request to School Counselor
- Attend college visits to LHS in the fall
- Be aware of designated LHS deadlines
- Add colleges to Common App and Naviance
- Take SAT/ACT if necessary
- Follow up on teacher recommendations
- Maintain grades throughout the year
- Send official SAT/ACT scores directly to colleges (if necessary)
- Submit applications well in advance of deadlines
- Attend Financial Aid Night
- File financial aid forms FAFSA and/or CSS Profile if necessary (by the college/university deadlines)
- If accepted Early Decision withdraw your other applications
- Make your final choice and deposit to the college by May 1st
- Complete your Senior Survey (this is how LHS knows where to send your final transcript)
